STAPLES Center Foundation Funds Magnolia Place Family Art Program

STAPLES Center Foundation recently helped Children's Bureau with a generous grant to support the Magnolia Place Family Art Program for one year. This popular program, offered in partnership with Free Arts for Abused Children, provides an opportunity for hundreds parents and children to spend time together doing art activities under the direction and leadership of experienced community-based artists.
"STAPLES Center Foundation has a ten-year history of providing support to nonprofit organizations that help the challenged communities surrounding the L.A. LIVE campus. We are proud to partner with Children's Bureau and appreciate the broad impact the Family Art Program has on both parents and their children. Family bonds are strengthened and children are given the opportunity to explore their emotions through creativity, possibly inspiring a future artist, musician or dancer," said Jennifer Lynch, director, STAPLES Center Foundation. "STAPLES Center Foundation looks forward to a continued relationship with Children's Bureau and is confident in the ongoing success of its programs," she added.

Many of these art projects are proudly displayed throughout Magnolia Place. Families often share with us how much they enjoy the activities, but, more importantly, the quality time spent with their children. Thank you to STAPLES Center Foundation for giving our families the opportunity to discover the therapeutic power of the arts!
