NuParent

NuParent (nuparent.org) is a fun and informative parent and child development program for parents with children ages birth to three years. NuParent focuses on helping parents to become the best parents they can be. NuParent sessions are held for groups of families at various locations in Orange County. The number of sessions varies depending upon where the program is held.
Each NuParent session:- Leads the parent(s) and child through fun activities together
- Provides opportunities to enhance parents’ child-rearing knowledge and skills
- Offers a chance to share and compare ideas, experiences, and information with others
Parents are their child’s first teacher and NuParent addresses some of the most commonly asked questions by parents like:
1. What is my baby trying to tell me when he or she cries?
2. How do I strengthen the bond with my child?
3. How do I handle temper tantrums, toilet training, and sleep problems?
4. How do I set limits and effectively discipline my child?
5. When does my child have a real medical emergency?
6. How do I understand my child’s temperament?
NuParent classes are led by an experienced, trained parent educator.
